OUR HISTORY
Our Beginnings
After over 3 decades of seeing tremendous success in breeding, raising and training Treeing Walker World Champion Coon Hounds, we stepped into raising English Labradors. In 2016, we purchased from Santy Labradors from Pedro Olvera in SC. They graciously allowed us to enter the English Labrador World with Santy Smoky Mtn Livy, Santy Smoky Mtn Chloe, and their brother Finley who eventually ended up in a pet home.

The Dog That Changed Our Lives
Meet Santy Smoky Mtn Moose! We got him in early 2018, and little did we know that he would be a dog that would change our family forever.
We would have never believed this dog would take the Labrador world by storm like he did. At just over a year old, we decided on a whim to take Moose to his first show, and he placed Reserve Winner Dog under one of the most prestigious judges in our country, Mrs. Cindy Skiba. Moose wins at the Greater Atlanta Labrador Specialty.
But this was just the beginning!
The Ride Begins
Moose Wins at Potomac
The ride continues! Moose places 1st in his class (15-18 months) at his first Potomac show.
Moose Finishes His AKC Champion Degree
In literal months, Moose completes his AKC Champion Degree. Amy Walker Wall finish Moose with record speed.
Moose Wins at Purina Farms
In March 2020, Moose wins Best Opposite at Purina Farms.
Moose Completes His AKC Grand Champion Degree
Moose wins his AKC Grand Champion degree. Again Amy Walker Wall and Moose do it again.
Moose Wins at Bare Bones
At the end of 2021, Moose wins Best of Breed at Bare Bones. Rusty Howard takes over and begins to place Moose in the top 5 Labradors in the Nation in 2022.
Moose Attends 2022 Westminster
After a few short years we are so surprised to receive an Invitation in the mail from one of the most prestigious kennel clubs in the world (Westminster Kennel Club). Moose is invited to the 2022 Westminster Dog Show.
Under Construction:
Gene and Karen start construction on Smoky Mtn Farms. They begin construction on new, state of the art kennels, care stations, and training areas. Gene and Karen are building an elite Breeding and Training Facility to produce a World Class Show Dog and continue to place puppies in their forever homes.
